Audio Program[edit]

  • location 1 & 2.
  • Eprom size is always 128kb/1mbit.
  • Function of pin 2 can be either A16 or GND.
  • Function of pin 26 can be either A16 or GND.

To use a 27c1001/27c010, A16 goes to pin 2 and GND 26 - this translates to a COOC (closed/open)configuration for JP1,2,3,4 and JP5,6,8,9.

Main Program[edit]

  • location 3-10.
  • Eprom size is always 512kb/4mbit.

Q-Sound samples[edit]

  • location 11(JP10,JP11) and 12(JP12,JP13)
  • Eprom size can be 2mb/16mbit or 4mb/32mbit.
  • Function of pin 32 can be be either A20 or VCC.

To use 27c160, pin 32 needs to be VCC - this means closed/open.

To use 27c322, pin 32 is A20 - this means open/cosed

Graphics[edit]

  • Location 13-20.
  • Eprom size can be 512kb/4mbit, 1mb/8mbit, 2mb/16mbit or 4mb/32mbit.
  • Function of pin 32 can be be either A20 or VCC.

A common piece used by Capcom is MX23c1610, this piece has byte mode select pin #32, this need to be pulled high for the piece to opearate in 16 bit mode.
